Sensalytx Ltd, specialist in distributed fiber-optic sensing data analysis and interpretation, announces the successful completion its first offshore field trial of Q-DOSTM, run in conjunction with a major international energy company and the Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC). The 6-month trial successfully concluded in May 2020.

As a growing number of offshore assets reach later life stages of their life-cycle, so the need to continuously monitor their daily performance also increases. Using continually acquired data from multiple wells, Sensalytx’s Q-DOSTM software platform has helped to characterize production efficiency and the changing down-hole conditions by visualizing and analyzing the data from years in the past through to the present day.
